Turtle Tours

Costa Rica is home to five species of marine turtles and if you go to the right beach at the right time of year, you might get to see one (or many!) of these gentle giants come ashore and lay their eggs. 

We have teemed up with a few naturalist guides to offer you the opportuntiy to see these magnificent creatures. Just tell us where you will be and when, and we will set it all up for you. And don't worry, if the timing is not right, we will tell you. 

Generally speaking, you can see the giant Leatherback marine turtle in the north Pacific region from October - February. The Olive Ridley turtle comes ashore monthy, but their arrivals coincide with the lunar cycle, so check with us for the best time to go. The green turtle can be seen in the north Caribbean July - October and in the North Pacific until April or so. Inquire with us about other species and locations!
