North Pacific Weather Region

Includes the entire Guanacaste Province, the Nicoya Peninsula and cities like: Liberia, Tilaran, Orotina, Playa del Coco, Playa Flamingo, Tamarindo, Nosara, Nicoya, Santa Cruz,  Samara, Mal Pais, Montezuma and Puntarenas (city).

• One way to sum up the temperate here: Hot! Daytime temperatures average 33°C (91°F)

Rainfall / Wet & Dry Seasons

This is one region where the dry season and wet season are very well defined.

• From May to October the rain fills the rivers and makes everything green, with June, September and October being the rainiest. Despite all this rain there is still an average 6 hours of sun per day during the rainy season.
• The dry season runs from November to April. Almost no rain falls from December until March.
