Bit of History:

In 1828 a small group of fishermen settled in this village, which was originally known as “The Bluff”. Since then it has grown into a quaint fishing village and a wonderful getaway. You'll feel right at home here with then friendly local residents and the ex-pats that own the majority of the local businesses.

Green Parrot in Cahuita

On the south Caribbean coast 45 kms. Southeast of Limon; 17 kms. north of Puerto Viejo (approximately 3 - 3.5 hours by car)

Hot and humid, no distinct dry season
